Refund Policy

Note: This refund policy applies to all courses and programs offered by KICT Computer Education.

1. General Refund Policy

KICT Computer Education strives to provide quality education and training. Our refund policy is designed to be fair to both students and the institute while maintaining our commitment to educational excellence.

2. Refund Eligibility

2.1 Full Refund (100%)

You may be eligible for a full refund if:

  • You cancel your enrollment within 7 days of payment
  • The course is cancelled by KICT before commencement
  • You are unable to attend due to medical reasons (with valid documentation)
  • Technical issues prevent course access (verified by our team)

2.2 Partial Refund (50%)

You may be eligible for a 50% refund if:

  • You cancel your enrollment within 15 days of payment
  • You have attended less than 25% of the course sessions
  • Course materials have not been extensively accessed

2.3 No Refund

Refunds will not be provided if:

  • You cancel after 15 days from payment date
  • You have attended more than 25% of course sessions
  • Course materials have been downloaded or accessed extensively
  • You are dismissed due to violation of terms and conditions
  • You fail to meet attendance requirements

3. Refund Process

3.1 Request Submission

To request a refund:

  1. Submit a written refund request via email to info@kict.com
  2. Include your enrollment details and reason for refund
  3. Provide supporting documents if applicable (medical certificates, etc.)

3.2 Processing Time

  • Refund requests are reviewed within 5-7 business days
  • Approved refunds are processed within 10-15 business days
  • Refunds are credited to the original payment method

4. Refund Method

  • Refunds are processed to the original payment method
  • Bank transfers may take 5-7 additional business days
  • Processing fees (if any) may be deducted from the refund amount

5. Course Transfer

Instead of a refund, you may opt to:

  • Transfer to another course (subject to availability)
  • Transfer to a future batch of the same course
  • Transfer enrollment to another person (with approval)

Transfer requests must be made before the course completion date.

6. Special Circumstances

6.1 Medical Emergencies

Students facing medical emergencies may be eligible for special consideration. Valid medical documentation is required.

6.2 Job Relocation

Students who relocate due to job requirements may request course transfer or partial refund with valid documentation.

6.3 Course Cancellation by KICT

If KICT cancels a course, students will receive a full refund or option to transfer to another course.

7. Non-Refundable Items

The following are non-refundable:

  • Registration fees
  • Certification exam fees (if exam is attempted)
  • Course materials that have been accessed/downloaded
  • Any additional services availed

8. Disputes

If you disagree with a refund decision:

  • You may request a review by submitting additional documentation
  • Disputes will be reviewed by our management team
  • Final decisions will be communicated within 10 business days

10. Policy Updates

This refund policy may be updated from time to time. The policy in effect at the time of your enrollment will apply to your refund request.
